absolute publishing — a decade of growth

Absolute Publishing Ltd (APL) was launched in 1997 with its founding client, ABTA, the Travel Association, for whom it produced its glossy monthly trade title, ABTA Magazine, 11 years ago. In 2007, APL was singled out as "the fastest growing UK customer publisher and the 13th biggest company in that sector" by Marketing magazine (19 Sept 2007).

travel

As well as ABTA Magazine, APL has created numerous supplements on behalf of tourist boards, hotel groups and airlines and annual one-off specials such as the ABTA Golf guide and the 1,000+ page ABTA Members’ Handbook. In 2005 it introduced the consumer title, Welcome to London to its portfolio, followed by ASTAnetwork, a quarterly magazine for the US travel association ASTA in Spring 2006, Spa Secrets Magazine in Spring 2008 and Advantage Travel Centre's new consumer magazine, Escape, in Spring 2009.

sport

APL has specialised in sports publishing from its inception, producing titles covering tournaments such as The Six Nations, the Rugby World Cup, the Cricket World Cup, The Open and the Champions League. In May 2009 it launched its first Classic Sports Series Guide to Formula One Season 2009.

direct response

APL regularly produces direct response publications for clients including The Mail on Sunday and OK Magazine.
